Breathe in. Breathe out. Repeat. Sounds simple, right? But ineffective or restricted breathing during workouts and other activity can inhibit your performance. Recovery and overall health are affected, too!
Few know the importance of deep breathing, and even fewer know the techniques to do it. High, shallow breaths don’t create healthy levels of oxygen saturation in our bloodstream. Only deep, diaphragmatic breaths do.
Oxygen creates energy when it reaches the mitochondria, the energy producers in our cells. Increasing your oxygen saturation levels with through learned breathing techniques will increase energy, stamina, strength potential, recovery, and coupled with a rejuvenated postural awareness will make you unstoppable!
